Dr. Gabriella Postalian-Rizzo completed her training in Endodontics at The University of Texas, School of Dentistry – Houston, earning a Master’s Degree through her dedicated research efforts during the training process. Prior to this accomplishment, she successfully concluded her general dentistry training at the Central University of Venezuela, graduating with honors and achieving the number one position in her class. Throughout her educational journey, Dr. Postalian-Rizzo received numerous academic awards, further recognizing her academic excellence.
Dr. Postalian-Rizzo is a board-certified endodontist, a distinction granted by the American Board of Endodontics. Obtaining this professional endorsement is a rigorous and difficult process, which places her among the minority of practicing endodontists in the United States with such recognition.
Dr. Postalian-Rizzo joined Southwest Endodontics in 2019 to continue her practice in dentistry. She is an active member of several dental organizations, including the Greater Houston Dental Society, the Greater Houston Hispanic Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the American Association of Endodontists.
Beyond her practice, Dr. Postalian-Rizzo actively contributes to the dental community through her participation as a presenter in both national and international conferences, sharing her valuable knowledge and insights with fellow professionals. Additionally, her involvement in numerous research projects has led to the publication of several articles, with a primary focus on improving root canal treatments and identifying medical conditions associated with root canal disease.
Dr. Postalian-Rizzo is multilingual, fluent in both Spanish and Italian, which enables her to effectively communicate with a diverse patient base. She finds great joy in staying active through exercising, exploring her culinary talents, and traveling. When not immersed in her passion for dentistry, she cherishes quality time spent with her husband and children.
